A native of Boone, Iowa, Warren Morris earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa and later, after serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, received his Master of Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. Warren Morris spent 30 years as director of sports medicine for the University of Georgia and 9 years as assistant athletic trainer for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a former owner of a successful sports injury and rehabilitation clinic.

As a member of the Georgia Bulldog athletic staff, Mr. Morris was head athletic trainer for the 1980 NCAA national championship football team along with Georgia’s well known successful tennis teams. All totaled he has had the privilege of working with many elite athletes and several who became world-class competitors, on and off the field.

Professionally Mr. Morris has spent much of his expert career participating on several state and national committees, including the NCAA Injury and Equipment Committee and the NCAA Football Rules Committee; serving as a member and Chair of the Board of Athletic Trainers for the State of Georgia; and proud recipient of several awards including the coveted American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine Distinguished Service Award, several Hall of Fame awards given by both the National and Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Associations, and a member of numerous Council(s) on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Together with his spouse, Debbie Morris, who is also an athletic trainer, they developed Morris Technologies, LLC. Combined, they have over 50 years’ experience as coaches, administrators and athletic trainers. The Morris’ have one goal in mind…to positively impact sports care and wellness for the physically active on this planet.
